The Little Things...

In early June it was my soon-to-be brother-in-law's birthday so I finally had a decent excuse to get my 'bake' on. Unfortunately due to my non-existent student budget it had to be a packet mix cake but, just quietly, that choc fudge cake with vanilla icing was one of the most scrumptious things I've ever introduced to my taste buds! 

It just so happened that I was on struggle street around that time so this mini celebration was the perfect little interlude that genuinely lifted my spirit.

Don't Stop Motion...

I have been increasingly obsessed with stop motion films since I started exploring short film as a form of fashion dissemination (hate that word but can't help using now!!) This one makes me particularly happy especially seeing as I'm struggling to find genuine inspiration right now...

Before I Explode...

I'm about to combust from extreme frustration at the moment... I was hoping it was a pre-assessment build up of stress but apparently the universe just wont let up. Anywho, chockers and other beautiful pieces of jewellery - which I seriously can't afford right now (I can barely afford to breath) - bring a little bit of sunshine to my life.

It's Getting Harder to Breathe...

I remember having a whale of time building indoor forts by pushing two arm chairs together and mounding scrumptious stacks of pillows everywhere! A special someone and I pondered making a noughties (as in the 21st century) version not long ago and although we didn't follow through, I plan to see my updated foray into the many ways to use sheets outside the bedroom come into fruition rather soon...

Struggle Street...

I'm having a bit of frivolous dilemma... Which ACNE shoe to purchase?! 

The Cypress (I like the chocolate brown the best) which is new and less obvious than the Pistol which - although EVERYONE has them - are simple, wearable and timeless.... ARGH!!
